WORLD OCEAN
The world ocean is 5 large bodies of salt water that cover approximately 71% of the surface of the earth and contains 97% of Earth’s water.
The Earth’s oceans are rising about 8 inches per century not 7 feet. The effect of global warming is to make the oceans more alkaline, not more acidic, because warming drives the CO2 out of the ocean.(2021, July 27). Retrieved July 27, 2021, from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean
