Saalome Global’s initial lander and rover research mission builds and expands on on previous lunar and planetary rover science from both agencies and institutions as well as the private/commercial industries. Building off of Google Lunar XPrize and The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge, Saalome Global looks to comprise a foundation by developing capabilities to successfully place a spacecraft on the surface of the moon, travel a distance of no less than 500 meters, and transmit images back to earth. Also an initial research project for Saalome Global’s Bright Giant space craft plans.
